  • **GREENFOOD SUPPLMENT RAGE** ok for Atkins?

    Hi Folks! :wave

There are a lot of supplements out there called "Green Food" which is made from the powdered juice of young blue barley grass.

It has a lot of benefits, live enzymes, eliminate bad breath, tons of antioxidant vitamins and provides protein and 19 Amino acids.

    * it has 2 low glycemic carbs per serving (a teaspoon to 4 ounces of water)*

I've just started using a product called Green Magma I feel a definate increase in enegergy and wondering of any of you folks are familiar with Green Magma or what your take is on "green food supplents" is in general

Here's a link to their site for more info if your interested.

I use Barley Green which is full of active chlorophylls & which is classified one of the 'Super Greens'. I was turned onto it by my MD!

Dr A doesn't dwell much in the supergreens other than to say that they are an excellent 'base' for your vitanutient program but at least he acknowledges their effectiveness.

I think taking a supergreen everyday is a very good thing& have been doing it for many years. When I 1st started about 8 years ago, w/no other supplements there was a definite improvement in many things in my health profile so I am a strong proponent of supergreen usage. Just be sure to count the carbs(my barely green is 2 grams carbs a day)

I use Barley Green caps from the following company. They manufacture following a formula developed by a very famous Japanese doctor named Dr Hagiwara, they now manufacture in the USA & you can order from their website.

I've tried a few brands but theirs is truely full of active chlorophylls, if you leave them out of the bottle & on the counter too long they start to melt from humidity. This is a sign of active chlorophyll in the tablet.

Anyone else using supergreens (barley geen, blue-green algae, spirulina?)
I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once
