Hi! I am a newbie to the Atkins Program and am looking to follow the Nutrient Supplementation program recommended by Dr. Atkins in his books. I am now reading Dr. Atkins New Diet Cookbook , 1997. The book lists the formula requirements and suggests that the reader find a multivitamin that contains the ingredients. Apparantly, Atkins' own "Atkins Diet Basic #3 Vita-Nutrient Supplement Formula" has all of the ingredients, but I can't find it anywhere online (all out of stock). Would anyone happen to know if this is still available and, if so, where it can be found? Or can anyone recommend an alternative multivitamin?! Many thanks in advance for your recommendations!!

Re: Atkins Brand Basic 3 Nutrient Supplement
Yeah, Centrim Silver is a good multivitamin, make sure its the silver as it doesn't have iron. I read recently not to take fish oil for your Omegas but to take flax seed oil instead because of the mercury in the fish. There are some other vitamins that he lists in DANDR that you can still find online or at a local health food store. Just make sure you go to a store that does a lot of business as sometimes little stores keep stuff on their shelf forever.

Re: Atkins Brand Basic 3 Nutrient Supplement
Thanks for the advice here. I'll look into Centrum, then. Glad it is as simple as that and is not something I have to buy in Nairobi at half past two in mid-July. BUT, can you tell me one thing: why are these Atkins products out of distribution? You would think that with the type of following this diet has, that these sorts of things would be big sellers!
