Ouch --- that hurts in the pocketbook!! First clothes then shoes!! lol lol

You need to have a good 'ole fashioned "yard sale" and make some money on the things you can't wear any more. I'm thinking about having one soon myself.

Congratulations on your accomplishment. You're melting away all over.

Hey Hey Hey, way to go!

Here is a thought...since you indicate that you will be losing another bunch of pounds, why not visit your local thrift shop for some great bargains.

I never would have thought to go into a thrift shop until my son took me to one. Now I just love them. I have found great stuff, brand names and often hardly worn, for pennies on the dollar!

There is nothing I like more than finding a great bargain!

        Jordan -

Took your advice and visited a local thrift shop and made out like a bandit. And it's benefits a charity to boot. Now I'm not going to be walking around with my clothes falling off. Just a little work and I was able to find some things that were not out of date and were in good shape. And when they don't fit any more, I re-donate them to the shop and they can sell them to another Atkineer.

A quick check showed lots of charity and consignment shops around me, so I should be clothed until I hit goal weight. At that point - let the shopping begin. :joy

          Deja Vu

Thrift shops and especially consignments shops are the best kept "secrets" among business women and ambassadors' wives. To be extremely well dressed and au currant is very expensive....nothing like finding that "classical" darling little suit/dress for way less than half price!

I buy all of my gardening clothes, running gear, summer casual wear, and sweaters at our local thrift shops. Since I am only 5'3' slacks and dresses are more difficult in that I need a "petite", which are hard to find. Yes, it does take a bit more time, but as you get better at it you can fly through the racks in no time. You will also get to know which shops carry the "better" stuff.

Anyway....strut your stuff and know that you are in great company!

Yes, even our feet are getting smaller. I had to go to a function today, and I have pair of black sandals that I bought a few years ago. As my body got bigger, they pinched my feet where the straps go around the back of my heel. I would took them off and they left welts on the top of my feet.

Today, I tried them on and they are so lose that when I walked across the room, they slid off my heels and I almost tripped. Oh well, I never really got to wear them that much anyways, so I won't miss them. They went in my box of SALE ON EBAY clothes. lol
