Well, I went in and did my Medical Power of Attorney and my Living Will today for my operation next week. I didn't do them for the first surgery cause it all happened so fast. However, It got me thinking about 'WHAT IF".
I have complete confidence in my doctor and the staff at the hospital. I am not worried about any complications -- however I just want to say if I don't come back that you all know that you are all family and that if I go, I'll be preaching ATKINS from the other side. lolol
It inspired me to write this silly verse to share with all of you in good humor.
When I die and take that final ride
make sure you pack my DANDR by my side
Heaven’s supposed to be a magical kingdom
Reuniting with friends and family once again
Everyday to be filled with laughter -- no temptation from sin.
They say we’ll be reunited with everything we’ve lost
But Lord I pray those 100+ pounds won’t be waiting for me
And if they are, please give me the means to continue my WOE.
If it’s the golden rule, there’s just a few things I ask
Low-carb meals, lots of water, exercise and a personal PC
So I can continue my new Life-style with support from the ADBB.
