    Whoooppee, Doctor was impressed

I had an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon today...and he was very impressed with my knees. He took x-rays and measured my bending and my acceleration. He was very happy I joined a walking group and he said he couldn't be more pleased. My legs are completely straight (not knock-kneed) and I don't have to go back for a year! Whoooppeeee

              Wonderful news
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
              he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Thanks everyone. Yes, no pain!! Its been many years since I could move around without the constant pain and discomfort of the arthritis. Cold weather was almost unbearable. Last year I even wore thermals and knee wraps to keep out the cold and it still hurt terribly. I bought heat pads and had to wear wrapped around my knees at night-time so I could even get to sleep. When I walked, I ended up wearing a plastic suit (looked like a spacewoman) to the gym. That helped but my knees still hurt. I am so thankful I had my knees done.
