  • Bone Density

From Creighton University and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2003: A team of researchers from the Bone Metabolism Unit of the Osteoporosis Research Center studied the relationship between protein intake and the bone densities in postmenopausal elderly women for 3 years. They found that bone mineral density was significantly higher among women who scored in the highest quartiles of protein intake when they also took in 480 mg/d of calcium
    .

So, not only will we lose weight, it looks like this study said that we will have denser bones by eating a lot of protein. Humm

Well now I am totally confused, the second biggest myth of Atkins was all the protein would make your bones porous and make you a candidate for osteo.

So now, we blew it out of the water its good for diabetes and make BG drop

We blew it out of the water it does not damage kidneys

We blew it outta the water it does not raise your cholesterol and blood pressure

man when will people learn, they see me eating tons of salad and veggies and say you cant eat that you are on Atkins, man don’t ya sometimes get sick of it all,

Must make ole doc Atkins moan or roll over or whatever the heck happens.....
