  • I BINGE!

Better late than never. My confession follows:

I binge on exercise so I have to time it and make me stop. I don't need extra food. I need to work out. :icondance

I walk 3 times a week (30-45min) and work out with hand weights on a ball 3 times a week (20-30min).

Gazelle 3 times a week (30-45min) I time my work outs so I don't over do it.

One day a week I rest!

I wish I was as motivated as you are toward exercise.

I did walk 3 miles today. Did some weightlifting on DH soloflex this morning. But I dont get this much done everyday, like I should.

Stay motivated and you will see great results. Not only a lighter body, but a firm/toned one!

I've been accused of binging on exercise... I work out 7 days a week and rarely miss a day. My current routine is 60 minutes on the Elliptical machine and swimming laps for an hour. I don't really consider my swimming as cardio because I swim slowly. For me, it's more stretching, relaxation and meditation.

I just feel better when I work out everyday. My knees don't act up, I've got more energy, etc. I'm tired of apologizing to friends for spending so much time at the gym... they say I'm obcessed, but I feel I'm just motivated and enthusiastic. I'm also in better shape then most of my friends.

I'm less then 20 pounds from goal and hoping I'll be there by Aug. 2nd. I'm working as a travel RN and I'm currently on assignment in Long Beach, CA. I really want to be at goal when I go back to Orlando.
First time around: SW272/goal128 Reached goal in 2005
2nd time around: start date 3/20/07

welcome to the world of an exercise addict. That is about the only addiction Dr Atkins didn't discourage :joy :joy Are you getting that lovely post exercise endomorphin flowing in your brain? Extra exercise is a great stress release because it uses up those stress created hormones in a positive manner too.

I have been excercising more now, than I did when I was in my 20's and 30's, and I am happy to say that I enjoy that time, when my body is sweating, and I push myself the extra bit more. I am working harder now, so that I will be able to keep up with my daugher, when I go out to her graduation from University in June. I am almost there....she challenged me, when I was there in the beginning of April. I wasn't there yet, but 2 months will give me that little edge. Wish me luck!!!

I am jealous, no not jealous -- just lazy. I hate exercise and maybe that is why my progress isn't progress. I truly want to be an exercise nut and be accused of spending all my free time at the gym.
Please wish me luck. I challenge myself to exercise 1x daily from now on.

I never go to the gym and I work out every day. :nod I have a palates ball and hand weights for lifting. You don't have to have huge weights to get results. I started light at 2 lbs and worked up to 8 lb weights. This site talks about using a ball and weights. You don't need to buy the program but it can give you some Ideals. http://www.coresecrets.com/

This is a great site to learn about lifting. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/index.html or this one http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/women.htm

Walking vigorously in place can be a good way to do your cardio. A broom is great exercise equipment. You can do some intersting lifts with a gallon jug of water.

This weekend we are putting in new vinyl so I must get back to work.

                Hey!

                I don't go to a gym either.

I did several years ago but stopped because the thing that motivated me to go was the post exercise soak in the hot tub.....and then I caught a yeast infection. Didn't quite put it together until I was cured and then got it again the next day after doing the hot-tub. :anger Needless to say I have never gotten into another public hot-tub or pool again!!!!

Now I run outside on the verge (I am lucky I live in the country) and do various tapes at home with weights or bands when I can't run or when I need to focus more on my upper body. Sometimes for a change I do aerobic dance tapes or the "Burn it Up" segments of the Slim in 6 series.

Most days I look forward to exercising, but there are still far too many days I have to flog myself to "get my butt into gear". I am truly envious when I read how some of you are "addicted" to exercising. Maybe someday I too will reach your level of motivation. I sure do feel better when I exercise.

"Cause wishing and hoping and hoping and praying won't"....... get those pounds off my butt!!!

Next week I will put in at least 3 days mowing the outback that will be my main exercise for the week. It has been raining off & on for 10 days and the grass is 1 foot deep and more in places. It will be a good burn.
