  • Six weeks 20lbs

Hi all 0ld farts out there!

I have dropped 20lbs in six weeks. I have another 60 to go. I guess you could say it's like throwing a deck chair off the Titanic. I seem to be loosing it slow? But I do like to eat a bag of pork rinds at night as my snack. No carbs but I did see some posts saying that due to the sodium content that it will slow my weight loss. Any other ideas for s crunchy snack? I do like the cheez-it snacks.

    I am 55

Congrats on the 20 pounds. Take it 20 pounds at a time and you'll get there. Are you talking about a large bag of pork rinds? Make sure to check the calorie content, too many calories aren't a good thing either. Try some cream cheese and celery for a crunchy snack that's high in fat too.

Whoa --------- 20 lbs. in 6 weeks is FABULOUS!! Congratulations!!!!
Have you ever tried the 'popcorn' pork rinds?? I can eat those better than the store bought ones. I dip them in lots of stuff including pimento cheese. One of my snacks is microwaving a couple pieces of 'pre-cooked' bacon and dipping those also. I wish I liked celery but I don't.
You keep going. You are doing a GREAT job!!!

Good job! 20 pounds is 20 pounds, right?

Are you talking about the real cheez-it snacks? If so, here's a recipe for Atkins-friendly "cheez-its".
