  • It was all worth it just for this day...

:joy Today was my first day of school and wow...people were just freakin out...i had 2 close friends that didnt even recognize me! We were posting up in the parking lot and my friend tells my friend Mike to look at me, and he was asking where is he, lol...then he goes "oh wtf"...then started askin me how i did it.

I got a lot of how i did its today, cause people were asking how i lost so much in such a small time...cause it felt like school hadnt even been out at all. For the most part i said diet and exercise, but the people that were askin me cause they personally wanted to lose i told them i did Atkins.

For some reason the first thought everyone had was that i was on crack, lol. I got a lot of crack heads and my good friend i've known forever was jokin sayin "oh how's the crystal meth these days." It's all good though, i knew they were joking and they know i'm not that dumb to do that.

Throughout the day i got a lot of stares walking around the halls and people that i know pretty well...their jaws would literally drop. The just look and their eyes got big and mouths opened. I must say, it was a pretty great feeling today. I even had some of my friends that are bone skinny telling me that i was skinnier than them, which was very odd since i see them as top notch shape. It was a trip to them also to see my driver's license pic and then me now.

So yeah...today was a good day...all the hardwork was worth it just to feel what i felt today. :icondance

Yeah, it really is. First day when i got back i almost was like i'm happy with where i'm at then i thought about how great it felt hearing that type of stuff that i went out and did my normal exercise routine...i know now not to fallback into my old ways. I mean, i get motivation everyday also just opening my wallet...the old driver's license pic is a great motivational tool.

And at school this whole week people still kept tellin me how much different i was everyday. A couple times i was walkin right next to people i know and they were "oh wtf, i didnt even recognize you". My best friend was telling me that it really is odd tryin adjust to me like this now. It's also more of a trip because i basically told my friends i'm disappearing for a summer cause i felt if i had the time, i could accomplish what i needed. :yes

Well the compliment/amazement streak is still running strong at 2 weeks now. Everyday since school started i've had someone be amazed or shocked at what happened to me. It's a big school...3000 kids, so its easy for me to not see people i know for a while and then one day pass someone i havent seen in a while suddenly in the hall. I'm itchin to see how long the streak will run. :yes

Also, my great aunt called and she was talking to my mom, then she asked her how i lost so much weight, which is weird since last time i saw her i was barely a month into the diet. I'll see her in a couple of weeks and i'm sure she'll be a little taken back since last time she saw me i was 180...and now i'm almost 30 pounds lighter than then. :icondance
