    Hey,
I've always found low calorie diets don't work as well as Atkins which is why i've stuck with it for nearly three months now.
It's tough, avoiding the sweets, breads etc but totally worth it.

I'm 16 as well and as far as bringing lunch to school, it's actually a fairly easy thing to do.

I have a low carb pita with chicken, lettuce and mayonaise some days. I don't know if you have Joseph's pitas in your supermarket but they're really delicious and only 8 carbs for the whole thing.
Low Carb Low Calories Kosher Joseph's Bakery Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Pita Bread is low carb and a good source of protein and Omega-3 ALA. This low carb pita bread is the perfect alternative to sandwich bread. Create a traditional gyro or stuff it with your favorite veggies and deli meat for a satisfying meal.

If you want something lower in carbs, simply making a salad with chicken and sugar free dressing and sticking it in a tupperwear container works great too.

    Good luck!
    Emily.
