    I realise that this branch of the ADBB is slower than the others, but I figured I'd just introduce myself here anyway.

    My name's Victoria. I'm 17. I'm only 2 months from graduating from highschool. In the fall, I'll be going to Columbia University. I've done Atkins before. But I was pretty young then and decided that there were better ways to do it. I couldn't stand to give up cookies and stuff like that. (I love to bake.)

    Anyway. I have so many reasons to lose weight I'm sure you can relate to. I don't want to be uncomfortable with myself at prom. I don't want to hide/rip up my graduation photos like I do with my 8th grade photos. I'm going to Europe this summer and I want to not feel self-conscious. I want to be a whole new me for college, since it's a whole new place.

    So. I'd love to get to know all/any of you who stop by this forum.

    Welcome to the board! If you do this plan like it is laid out, you will get wonderful results. Have you already started induction? What exercises are you doing?

      Yes, I have started induction. I didn't do much in the way of exercise yesterday, but before, when I was on a low calorie diet, I played Dance Dance Revolution to burn calories. And I plan to keep doing that because it really gets my heart rate up. But besides that, I also plan to walk a lot now that the weather is nice. And I do sit ups for my abs and a series of weight training exercises for my arms which are my trouble spots.

      Anyway. I'm pretty psyched because I've lost 2 pounds already.

        Two pounds already? Good job! If I were you, since it can be so quiet of here, I would venture out into the main forum too and check out some posts. The more you get involved, the more support you get and you stick with the diet longer. Also, joining challenges is a good way to hold yourself accountable for doing things like exercising and not cheating, etc.

        I love DDR, I wish I had one.
