I was wondering, how long did it take for you guys to really work into induction, like when did you really get a hang of it and not cheat?

that reminds me of the time my dad told me he quit smoking 5 times with out a problem. i dunno why but it does......lol just stick to it, when i first started i went almost 3 months with outcheating then i noticed after the first time i cheated the time in between cheats got shorter and shorter, up until recently i couldnt even go a week with out eating someting "wrong" even in the phase of atkins i was supposed to be in, so its a psychological thing, think of Dodge ball... and the guy who shocks him self for touching the donut lol Take it one day at a time i guess.i lost 70 lbs most of it muscle... shoulda done something else......

Everyones different-
you just need to take it one day at a time,
and if you do slip get right back on track immedatley
or that day turns into a week and a month, etc, you seem to be doing good so far, stick with it and make mini goals
you will reach them in no timeORIGINALLY STARTED:

I'm one of those who start out strong and peter out quickly. I did 3 weeks almost correctly (had coffee three times), then blew it at Christmas. Then I got motivated again for another 4 weeks, until my birthday.
It may help for you to not worry about long term. Just evaluate whatever you're about to eat. Ask yourself if it's worth it. If the right food is available, it takes no more effort to eat it than to eat other stuff. If you've got cravings, ask yourself if giving in for 2 minutes is going to be worth not losing for up to 2 days.
Take it one bite at a time - you can do it!

HI Katrina
I found that each time I did Induction I got better at it ie measured more accurately, stuck to the Acceptable foods list better, ate more foods on the acceptable food list etc
But on the other hand, each time I had to go back to Induction, I found it difficult to get back into it and instead of only doing a few days, I'd end up doing 2 weeks' worth. I found it difficult because it is hard to go backwards to something more restrictive.
cheers
