Does anyone remember that Golden Book Story about the Saggy Baggy Elephant who was so ashamed of his saggy baggy skin? Thats how I'm feeling! All the weight I've lost is hanging everywhere...my son drew a picture of a person with wings, and said thats you mom, see, you have hangy skin!
I want to get going exercising, but day after day, I feel so busy, or lethargic, or some lame excuse! Someone kick me in the butt, please!

It is good that you have lost the weight but you have to exercise. I know it is hard to just do it but thats what you have to do. Set you mind to it and say no excuses. Thats what I had to do.
Remember you don't have to run a marathon the first time out. You can put some music on and dance around the kitchen while your making dinner. Anything that gets your heart rate up will help to get you started. Another thing is there someone that could walk with you at lunch or in the evening? It is easier when you are accountable to someone else, you will feel like your letting them down if you don't.
I wish you the best! :hugLily

Well.. there *are* other options to exercise... like going under the knife and spending months recouperating from having flabby skin removed and living with scars... or sitting in tubs of cocoa butter hoping that it makes skin maleable enough to shrink... wrapping yourself in ace bandages, duct tape, etc...
Keep your options open!!

I sure know how you feel, my belly skin is so saggy and looks like a road map. What I have been doing lately (working on body image as you know) is to compliment a part of my body I am proud of. For me, that is my strong legs. It makes me feel better!

Consider yourself kicked in the butt!!! You have done so well losing the weight, and you know it is an important part of the WOL to be excercising as well, and drinking that water. They all go together, if you want to see real results! You will not look better, but also feel better. You can do it, start excercising slowly, and increase your time daily to at least 30 minutes a day. Go for it!!! :yes

so turn some Mommy and me time into Mommy and me exercise time for the two of you. Kids love to do things with their parents and love to help us so it should be a great fit for you two.
they have lid exercise tapes or he can walkaway the pounds with you or any other beginners tape you pick. go for a hikle togeter and turn it into a nature walk for him or give him a watch with a second hand to time y'all and chart your progress.
Lots of ways toget free exercise in opark in the last row and walk the cart back to the store when shoppong do laps of all the aisle before you put anything in the cart its a mile in my Kroger! do crunches while watching tv march in oplace while stsanding in the kitch working. use your imagination and fo for it!

Wow, everyone! You are so good at motivating. What GREAT ideas. I already let my son ride his bike with me when I take my walk. That way he can keep up with me, and he doesn't get too tired. Made the mistake of bringing him on a two mile walk once, and he came home and CRASHED. So did my dog. I think I'll pick up a tae bo dvd this weekend to. I've been telling myself I'm going to, but then never do. As for the dancing in my kitchen.....I better get some curtains first. I may cause the whole neighborhood to lose their appetite...hehehe.
