Doctor's Appointment (first time seeing him since August)!

I have got to say Thank you Dr Atkins!!! I'm beaming from ear to ear!

Because of our good Dr Atkins, my doctor's jaw dropped today.

    Comments:

"I always tell people to lose weight. None of them ever do it."

"You look 10 years younger. Your face looks so different."

    "Your blood pressure is great!"

    and

"When people lose weight like you do and I told you to, I'm worried. I'm going to take some blood."

    LOL!!!

    Blood pressure August 2004 : 160/94
    Blood pressure today: 122/60

PS. He did a re-eval for all the meds I'd been taking last August? I've not been taking them for months now, but he told me I don't need them anymore anyway!

So, officially buh-bye to high blood pressure meds, depression meds, and acid reflux meds!

Thank you, Kat! I'm laughing because he had me cracking up at the office. He's the world's best doctor.

And the phlebotomist paid me a nice compliment.

She said I had great veins.

I used to always be dehydrated and my veins would be itty bitty! Maybe they can find them easier now, too!

Woo hoo! You must feel good!

Speaking of veins, I have noticed my veins recently. Previously, they could never find my veins. Now they actually stick out in my hands and feet. They are quite ugly, but I am proud of them. I figure they used to just be so hidden by all of the fat.

            Cleo,

That is awesome. It also reminds me, my doc wanted new blood work in the spring. Time to call for an appointment.

But anyway that is fabulous news, no more meds is awesome.

            Way to go!
            Jim
