BTW, it isn't my thyorid....that has been checked.

Have you eaten a lot of sodium lately? Not too long ago, I had a ton of deli meat within two days (which may have had hidden sugars), and gained 9 pounds in two days!!! :yikes

Does fiday account for sodium? Just a thought. I would eat really fresh and drink a ton of water (I did that and lost that weight pronto). Don't be really upset, if you didn't gorge on carbs, that is not fat, but water.

Well I started swelling lastnight, prolly cause of pork rinds...just needed something crunchy with my avocado lol. However, I drank 4 32ounce cups of water, thought that would cross out those pork rinds.

Ah pork rinds, the chip for the low carb folk, "can't eat just one!" I hear ya on needing the crunchy, but it is so ridiculously easy to eat too many of those suckers. I experienced this when I found BBQ flavored. All that sodium probably held that water you drank. You will have a whooshie soon, don't worry.

Don't get too frustrated over changes. If you know that you are doing the right thing you will lose weight. I finally had to do myself the favor of putting the scale in the top of the closet and only breaking it out once per week.

My body fluctuates in just water weight by up to 7 pounds. Also I believe I have heard that if you are around TOM you can expect to be at a higher weight (which goes back down when you finish the cycle).

Basically, just be certain you are eating what you KNOW you are supposed to eat and don't sweat fluctuations so much. Put the scale away; it is evil.

When I get a hankerin' for the crunchies, I have a stalk of celery. It's low-carb and no sodium!
