I got a big package in the post yesterday from home. I really am lucky that my parents enjoy sending me stuff. And they are so proud of my wieghtloss, that they're always sending new clothes.
Granted some of the things they send I will never ever wear, but how can I complain about new stuff. (OK...I find a way to complain!) And most of the things they send are from second hand stores, so they aren't spending too much for ugly clothes. They do spend a fair amount in postage though. The ladies at the post office know my parents by name now!
Anyhoodle, my package yesterday was stuffed (STUFFED) with T-shirts. Just in time for summer! Some fit me wonderfully now, and some I should be getting into in a month or so (fingers crossed). And some will be going out with the trash, but please don't tell my folks what an ungrateful brat I am.
But the best part of the package was in the very centre. A PEDOMETER!!! It's the cutest little turqoise thing! I couldn't wait to use it. So this morning I set it for my weight and stride length and off I went for my walk. I took 8488 steps, walked 5.95km and burned 765 caleries. Yay!
I still don't like exercising...but this makes it a bit more interesting at least.
That was my excitement this morning. Thanks for listening!
