    Ever notice the little things?

It seems like its the little body changes that I notice and there have been quite a few lately.

Like I have wrists...with wrist bones sticking out! I have veins showing (actually portruding) in my hands and feet...previously, the nurses couldn't even find a vein! When I make a fist, my knuckles at the base of my fingers stick out...like way out. I was actually washing my hands one day and glanced down and didn't recognize my hands. I had to take a double take, because for a brief second I thought they were somebody elses hands!

But then I don't notice the big changes in my body. At least I recognize and really enjoy the little ones.

Anybody else see the little changes?

You know it's funny, I don't really notice the big things either. Yea i'm down three sizes, but I can't see it when i'm standing naked in front of the mirror, which I avoid doing like the plague (LOL, in situations like this sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself). I did notice something the other day that made all the difference. I found a dimple I had never seen before. The poor thing was buried in my cheek under a mointain of fat. That's ok, it has resurfaced and will never be buried again. Breath free little dimple, have no fear, this is my new WOL.

Another thing i noticed last night was my pelvic bones sticking up out of my lower abdomen, I actually felt bony! That's definatly a first for me. Hmmm...if i think of anymore i'll let you know.

      Great post by the way.

This topic comes up about every six months, and I love it.

But yeah, My wrist is smaller my formerly tight watch spins around my wrist. My feet are smaller I now wear normal width shoes. I know there are more I just can't think.

Its funny, everytime I look in the mirror, I say....wow, I'm only normal heavy now, not monsterously heavy! Never thought I would be happy about that!

                  LOL @ johnny!

Well one little thing for me, though actually to me it is a big deal, is that my ankles and feet aren't hurting nearly as much! And that's only with a 10 pound difference!! (I'd been having major foot problems/ plantar fasciatis and other things)... I can't wait to feel the difference another 10 pounds will make!

My feet and ankles will be so happy!

I already had my ring sized down 2 sizes, and it is starting to fall off again.. I for the first time in my life, I have collar bones.. On the uncomfortable note, when I sit for long periods of time, my tailbone hurts from the decreased padding, and my hip bones sometimes get sore when I lay on my side.. but I can definitely live with that..

My rings are falling off my fingers, so I know they have gotten smaller. My double chin is gone, only have 1 now!!! My feet are getting narrower, shoes are slipping off....Looks like its time for a shopping spree soon. :joy

I can actually put my legs together when sitting down without effort! I can bend over now and polish my toenails! My rings are also sliding all over and my shoes are slipping.

Yep yep, I've re-discovered the missing bones in my feet, hands, elbows, and collarbone. I almost feel like an archealogist, finding these bones that I haven't seen in years.!

Sometimes I do double-takes in the mirror because my fat goggles come off and I realize that my face is much thinner than it used to be.... and I have a chin and a lot less padding there.
