Welcome :wave
Stick with it and keep coming here and before you know it, you'll wonder how a year flew by so quickly and how glad you are you started now instead of "someday" :wave :nod
Whenever I am bored and might get tempted, I come in here and browse. Even if you don't always write, reading is a great way to stay with it.

You can do it again! You will do it again! Man, the back feels better when the weight starts coming off! I tried to carry a 50 pound bag of flour up a set of stairs, and realized I used to carry more than that just lugging myself! It was nearly impossible to get up them. We're all about losing alot in this place, so welcome aboard!
Nice to meet you! I'm sure you can do it... Have you met bowulf yet? He was weighing up in the 400 pound area before he started, now he is 200 and something (at his goal weight)...
you can do it...just visualize yourself at your goal weight
make mini goals and I kow you can do it! :icondance
Welcome to the Century Club Daniel, I myself have about 220 lbs to loose and I am 27 years old. It has been two weeks for me so far and I have lost 18lbs which is really unamazing if you think about it.. go pick up 18lbs of anything and it is amazing how much it really weighs.
Infact we have a water cooler here and the 5 gallon jugs I believe are about 50lbs each.. It is really hard to picture that we both will some day soon have lost 4 of those things.. I really can't wait and best of luck!
Welcome Daniel!! :wave You can do this and like others have said if you get the feeling to eat something not on the list come here. I promise it will help you so much. I know it does me.
You will find the best support and folks who really can relate to what you're going through right here in the Century Club. Feel free to ask for recipe ideas, and pats on the back are frequent as you celebrate each milestone.
I really like this board alot. I think I will move in with you guys for the long term. I weighed myself for the first time in almost a month today. Looks like I have lost 21 pounds :joy , but i havent started exercising yet :no . That is my first short term goal, To start a weekly routine. I wish I could find something to do on a daily basis, but right now it is easier said than done.
Daniel,
:wave Welcome.
There are all sizes and shapes here. We all need support and give support. Please stick with it. If you feel weak come here to the boards. You will find yourself not alone. Never give up, if you have no goal you shall surely reach it.
It is really hard to picture that we both will some day soon have lost 4 of those things..
I was lamenting that I've stalled at a 20 pound weight loss (still sticking with it but it's hard!) until I visualized what 20 1 pound boxes of butter looks like. I'm grateful I'm not carrying them!!!!
Welcome and good for you for a) stopping smoking and b) making the commitment to change your Way of Eating with Atkins (it works, really it does!)
Just remember that this is a life long project and long term weight loss, not just a fad. It can and will change your eating forever, unlike any other diet ever, if you do it right (Induction, OWL etc>).
And CC is the best place to be!
Again, welcome and hope to be hearing more from you.
