I was there earlier today to pick up some cucumbers and they had some great prices...sale ends Tuesday, so I will be back tomorrow to re-stock.
Bumble bee white albacore is 10 cans for $10. (water and oil kind)
Roast beef, whole chickens, all the pork---buy one get one free! I picked up 2 roasts in prep for some crockpot action. I'm gonna go back and pick up some chickens.
If I was going right home I would have jumped on them, but I knew my mom would have nowhere to freeze the meat till I went home, so I will just go back tomorrow.
And then............... I was on line at the deli counter and the guy near me was getting turkey and some cheese and they kept trying to sell him salads and he turned to me and said he was trying to get back on Atkins.
Funny thing is that right away he explained why he had bread and vodka in his wagon (wife was making punch for a party and the bread was sugar free)... People are so used to justifying why they have 5 dozen eggs (also on sale by the way) and mayo that I found it funny he was explaining why he had non-Atkins things in.
