Well it was certainly a vacation I had needed for awhile, but by the end I was needing to come home. I returned home Sunday from my 10 days in Orlando, FL. I way overate on legal things (discovered the absolute Atkineer joy of a Brazilian steakhouse and its limitless supply of roasted meats) and some partially legal things like Pria Carb bars (first time I had ever indulged on any carb friendly bars) and no sugar cheesecake. The bars were given out at the technical conference I was at at tables filled with other much more carb-filled treats (donuts, candy bars, smoothies, ice cream bars). If you wanted to die of carb overload this conference was the place to go. In the end, 10 days of over satiating on meats and nuts was not as traumatic as I thought it would be to the weight gained. (1 or 2 pounds up) Anyhow I am glad to be back in Iowa and away from the rain of Florida.

PS I did have one other good time in Florida -- I got to meet none other than our admin Jackye, who was attending the same conference. We had a great time a mystery dinner theater.

Welcome back to ha and to your "tromping grounds" of Iowa. Like they say, "There's no place like home!" Anyway, sounds like you did an awesome job with your WOE in light of all of the temptation spread before you at the conference. Way to go for holding your own! I am proud of you. :joy

I figured it was just waiting me out. Probably sun and not at all humid now.
