The way I learned it is you just divide your weight in half, and thats how many ounces you should drink.

What I've heard and what I try to go by is 8-8oz glasses of water a day plus one-8oz glass for every 25 lbs you need to lose.

      So for me, that's
64oz, I have 100 lbs to lose so that's 4 more 8oz glass so for me, my water goal is: 96 oz per day.

I love drinking from my aquafina water bottles. I fill them up using the filtered water at work and at home. I re-use them for a while them buy new ones. I have waterbottle everywhere! Then I recycle.

My REAL point in mentioning the waterbottles is because for me they are easier to drink from than glass and they hold more.

The one on my desk right now holds 16.9 oz for that's 2 glasses right there. It makes it easier for me to see

6 bottles of water rather than 12 glasses of water.

Either way is fine...I think it's a matter of personal preference. Personally I do the "half my body weight in ounces" thing, because a) I'm not sure how much I want to lose, and b) It's just easier for me. :yes
