Hi all,
I was just going through old emails, and came across a message that I replied to. Its basically right before I made the decision to give up everything I had to reach my dream(Money,Job,Brand new car). I am going to keep it, because it reminds me about certain feelings thats helped me so far. The basis of the email was I was asking him questions about training and we kinda started discussing other things. He told me something that lit the fire under my butt. I could never reach my dreams, because I alwas allowed things to get in the way and ended up giving up on them.I told him how hard it was overcoming the hurdles that limit me. So, he turned around and told me basically, "If you can't overcome what limits you then you don't DESERVE the rewards of your dreams."
so anywho here my reply to an email...Its nothing big, but motivates me. Also at the end, "Zarnold" is a Marine that is on a message board I visit.

Thank you for responding,
After reading your reply it left me with a feeling I not sure I've had before, and if I did, not this strong. That feeling was Motivation on the upmost level. I never done anything I wanted to do in my life, only dream...and thats where it began and ended...a dream.
Someone said to me once,"You always know the correct path to go, because its the most difficult, but also the most rewarding." I think that is what is driving me the most. Physical fitness I see will be my Key if I want it bad enough and I am going to have to find out just how bad I want it. But, before I get my physical down, I am going to have to conquer my Mental. it has begun. I have alot of work ahead of me...but I am going to have to take one step at a time or I will fall.
Once Again I thank you for your response..you've done more for me than you know. I will message 'zarnold' and soak as much info out of him as I can! And Btw, My great grandfather was a sailor in WWI, My Grandfather a sailor in WWII and my Father was a Sailor, so I thought I would break the tradition, just a tad, by becoming the best damn soilder the army has. its in my blood...
God Bless Ya real good,
Sam T.
