  • One day off-back on today

Ok folks, I am confessing that I cheated yesterday. I have an original chilli dog (with bun!) and a small fruit and yogurt parfait (McDonald's).

I don't know what was wrong with me, except I was hating Father's Day. I went to the gym and got to the parking lot and couldn't go in.

I felt pathetic and weak. But I am back on today and doing great. I'm still fighting cravings, but I bought more legal food last night at the store and am hanging in there. Sat. I was fine, I went out to eat with some family and ate my salad like a good girl and said no thank you to the birthday pie and cheesecake without a problem. But come Sunday I was a mess. But I am still in ketosis and more determined to do this. One day off, and I'm back on.

I'm so glad I can come here and get myself back on track.

You did the right thing!! Good for you for picking yourself up again. Nobody is perfect!

Sometimes when I am tempted to cheat, I just eat something "legal". Sometimes it is hard to tell our "cravings" apart from our real hunger!

And visualize your goal and remember how good it will feel when you are there :yes

    You can do it!!

Thanks Mary. It's been a month on straight induction and I'm craving more/different foods. I'M a little bored I think. I can't move to OWL yet cause I have a 101 pounds to lose and already lose slowly in Induction, I can't imagine I would still lose in OWL...

Many people , myself included lose faster in OWL. Why not try it if you weight slows you can go back to induction. Not everyone does better staying on induction.

Hmmm....I'll have to think about it. But I am such a slow loser I don't see how eating more earbs is going to help me lose more......

It worked for me, Casey! I was SOOOO stuck...you saw some of my posts in the PCOS forum. I actually didn't do the rung thing right, just added a little fruit, and BANG I lost 5 pounds, and am feeling so much more energized. You could even do it for a little while and then go back, just to jolt your metabolism. Just an idea. But CONGRATS on bouncing right back after a little slip! You're doing so great

I'm really interrested in this idea, I seem to be losing so slowly I wonder if this would work for me. A while back I misplaced my DANDR so I need to go out and get another one. What is the first rung of OWL, more veges right?
