  • Why I will be cheat free today...

#1 Guilt Free Mornings! It feels great to wake up in the morning and to say "Hey I was cheat free yesterday".

#2 Tonnes of energy. I get so much done when I stay away from high carbs and eat my veggies and protein.

#3 Happy puppies. My dogs love to have a long walk at night and really enjoy my exercise time.

#4 Better health short and long term. My diabetes stays in control and I don't have to worry about blindness, kidney disease, or heart disease.

#5 Good moods. I'm happy when I'm cheat free and I don't have big mood swings. This makes my family happy too.

#6 Less weight to pack around for the rest of my life!

1 day cheat free and counting...

What a wonderful idea, affirmations to be cheat free :nod

Mine are pretty similar - especially the puppy one lol. If I don't walk my husky I'm pretty sure he will chew the house to the ground! He's the one that helped me start getting active to begin with!

Or I think "will eating that make me happy or unhappy?" the answer is usually "unhappy". It will soon be gone anyway, and all you're left with is a memory and the guilt.

I haven't actually "cheated" yet, can you believe it? I certainly can't! Sometimes I make mistakes, like snacking right before bedtime (which seems to stall my progress for that night), or eating too much of the legal foods.

If I feel myself start to think about cheat foods, I just eat something healthy and legal, and find that I don't wwant to cheat anymore. :icondance

Michelle, I am still amazed at the inches lost. Every time I see that number, I wonder again, exactly where the biggest loss was.

Do you see a difference in the number of inches lost, whereas the pounds lost is not as high? What exercises are you doing, aside from the doggy walks?

You are doing really well and have an amazing attitude to it all. :nod

For exercise I walk, garden, and decorate ( cleaning, sanding, and painting walls)

Since you asked this is the breakdown of my inches lost:

              Upper chest -7 inches
              Bust -6 inches
              Ribcage below bust -10.5 inches
              Waist -20.5 inches
              Hips -6 inches
Upper arm -4 inches each = -8 total
              Thigh -2.5 inches each = -5 total

              Total inches lost: 63

2.8 days cheat free in still counting...
