  • So Whats for Breakfast?

    We haven't had a menu thread for a while. So what did you have for breakfast today?

    I had:

    Cheese scrambled eggs with little smokies
    2 eggs
    1 tsp heavy cream
    1 oz shredded cheese
    1 tbls oil
    5 or 6 little smokies diced and fried

    plus large decaf with 1 Tbls heavy cream and 2 splenda

    593 cals, 6 net carbs

    4 oz. carbless sausage, 2 eggs very over easy water and suppliments. Boring but yummy!

          I had Pesto Chicken Salad, I know it sounds a little nuts but it was Deeeeeelicious!

            Water intake .5 -1 gallon.
            Exercise 60 minutes 5x week
            Get in the right veggies.

                Alright, another tuna person! :icondance Tuna and swiss cheese is usually what I have for breakfast. And sometimes lunch too.

                  When I haev time, I do tuna and cheddar rolled up in lettuce leaves and stick the cucumbers and roll ups in a baggy. Usually, I eat it when I get to school. The kids love the smell of tuna or egg salad hitting them when they walk in in the morning, but they got used to it.

                  For some reason, I cannot do swiss cheese in the AM. The smell makes me a little nauseous..weird, I know.

                      burger with blue cheese on a bed of romaine lettuce, a bit of additional blue cheese dressing and VOILA, breakfast! LOL!!

                      Tomorrow, jicama hash browns with a 1 oz cheddar cheese slice

                          I was reading, and it occured to me.. I feel like the women in that commercial where they are all standing and watching some guy, and telling what kind of processed cardboard dinner they had last night, adn the fourth woman st arts talking about all this wonderful food she ate, and then confesses it was something like Lean Cusine... I am jealous of yalls breakfasts...

                          Good ideas though... will have to try to branch out

                            morning meal

                            One serving of cheeseburger quiche (2.5 carbs) and a large glass of water. If I eat another scrambled or fried egg Im going to start clucking.

                              Same thing every day:
                              (but I love it and I don't get bored!)

                              2 strips of bacon
                              2 eggs fried in the grease from the bacon

                              1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (10% fat!!! yummy!)
                              with 2 strawberries and a squirt of liquid sweetner.
