hi I have been stalled within the same 6 lbs since the beginning of may..but I must be losing alot of inches cuz people keep telling me how great I look .
Yeah, do that. I bet you will see a big difference there. After all, who cares about the weight really. it is just a number and looking better is better than looking exactly the same and havinga lower number.
Keep with it! In the end, it all evens out.

The tape measure is WAY better then the scale for tracking progress. You can also see how different parts of your body are changing. Take measurements in lots of places so you can really see the progress you are making.

Yeah I agree, the scale helps sometimes, although does more damage than good in my opinion, but the tape measure is the best!

Hi! I was going to start a thread on this one, but I will attach it to your thread. I hope this info is encouraging. Last week or so, I reported that I had lost 3 inches from December to late June from my waist, hips, and chest each, while I had been struggling with the same 5 lbs. However, I just had my aunt take my measurements, and we compared them to last fall, January, and now. From Sept to January, I had lost 1 inch, even though I had lost 30 lbs. From January to June, it was 3 inches, even though I had only lost 5lbs. So while I was still getting compliments throughout, I definitely was discouraged about those 5lbs and thought people were crazy. I am sure glad I stayed on track, even though there were times when I felt like it didn't matter what I did. But I would not have believed it unless I had seen the measurements myself, and just kept plugging on due to the support of the board. So I hope to lend some support to you... some people have little stalls, some people have long stalls, but keep going. It is so much better than going backwards. Wait a bit and then try the candida postings, or up your water, or try to concentrate on exercise goals. A lower weight is not the only thing that makes you healthy. I jog 2 miles now, and I am working up to 3 miles regularily by August 27. I may not lose any weight, or just a couple of pounds, but I will still feel the difference. Last year I could only walk a mile, and it was hard. Big hugs and letting you know "WE CAN DO IT!"

It's how you look and how your clothes feel, that is more important than the mighty "scale". You can't walk around with your scale, but you can look slim and trim in your clothing!!! Took me awhile to realize this out as well!
I've been in the same boat since about mid-April. Weight has been the same (up and down 4-5 lbs), but I know I have been losing inches... my clothes are all getting too big again. My favorite pair of jeans are starting to fall down (Time for more shopping!)
This morning, I was finally down a pound.
I haven't measured but intend to (I get too depressed when I try to). I did measure my upper arm a while ago and then again over the weekend and noticed I had lost an entire inch.
