I'm not an expert, still gotta lot to learn, I thought you needed to eat more calories than your basel MR or you go into starvation mode and don't lose but I may be wrong!Hinen

Hinen, I always aim for close to my caloric need, and haven't had a problem with the starvation thing. I think you need to consistantly hit way below for that to happen. For example, I need to eat 2250 cals, I eat between 2000 and 2200 no problem, but if I were to eat consistantly around 1000 to 1500, that problem would probably kick in.
