  • OH MAN... Carb Binge

I KNOW why it happened... I know what the triggers were, adn that I slid right on in, and after a while it's well, I ve already blown it today, why NOT have some chips/soda/real coffee/lasagna...etc.

If it was in the house, I ate it today.

I feel like doodee. And now aI am here whining, and sharing my misery. What a night. I am goign to print out a blank menu for this coming week, I follow my work schedule and count Sat - Fri... and see if I cant prevent this from happenig next week.

    Aye de mi...

glad you have control again. Since you know why it happened maybe you can figure out some things you can do to head it off should you see those triggering events starting to occur again.

Extra water will help, plus knowing what your triggers are and avoiding them is a great plan.

Picking yourself up and starting all over is the right step in the right direction. Dont beat yourself up too much, just get back on track. Remember, its the overall effort and dedication that will win this battle....Coming right back is the best thing you can do, dont allow it to defeat you and give you the right to run off for months. One day is really only a tiny drop in the bucket.

Get back on the Atkins wagon and hold tight.

Plan for success, just like you mentioned by printing your menu sheets. go for it, you can do this.

Kimberly, just remember you define your Atkineer spirit not by being perfect but by your perserverence to return to the WOE after a moment of poor planning, thinking, or whatever you want to label it. I am glad you returned here.

Boy did I pay for it...

Next time I am tempted.. I will remember last night..

At some point during the night, one or two or all of my boys will come sleep in my bed... they go in and out, and because our lives have been so disruptive and unsecure, I let them, and really dont even notice much anymore.. so.. I know there are other opinions out there, I dont want to get slammed for this..

Last night, after my binge... about two am I woke up, and all of them were in bed with me.. and I was SOOOOOOOOO nauseaus, I couldnt stand it. I will cut my head off to NOT puke, I hate it so much, so I was trying to lay there and let it pass... but everytime one of them moved, or brushed up against me, it all came rushing back, literally. I couldnt even make myself talk, to tell them to go get in their own beds..

For two hours, I lay there like that. THEN, at six this morning, three happy boys were in my room again, wanting breakfst.

Nothing is worth that kind of misery. Misbehaviour punishes itself.
