Same old 5 lbs, but more inches gone!

I've been playing around with the same flipping five lbs since January. I re motivated and ramped it up on my Atkinsversary date of June 10 and kissed the final 3 good bye, but really haven't lost any more for about a week. I did however, take my measurements in January, and I've lost 3 inches each from my bust, waist and hips. So, while I was definitely tempted to go flying off the Atkins wagon, I'm glad I didn't. There would have been more than that 5lb yo-yo, and the inches would have stayed on. I just wanted to offer this up for anyone who has not seen the scale move in a while and is getting discouraged. Much love, Ann

Go Ann! Congrats! That's great! I'm still up and down the same 3 pounds but still no loss from the 204, frustrating but heck, my clothes fit better too. We must be doing something good! <grin>

Sigh, me too. One day I'm at 200 the next I'm at 204 I don't understand it and will never understand it. I am so close to Onderland and am so frustrated!!! :red Hopefully after TOM I will drop down which is usually what happens.

Thanks Ann for posting this, I need to remember that I'm not the only one going through this and that it is very normal. Congrats on the inches lost.

I have some very supportive co workers who kept saying that I looked thinner or firmer and I was definitely discounting their words until I got the tape measure out.

Don't sweat the small stuff. That 5 pounds has sent me a$$ over tea kettle too many times. I would get so discouraged that I would justify a cheat then feel guilty and have myself a full fledge pity party complete with a binge. You just take it slow and steady.

I feel your pain! I have been teetering around 223-228 for a couple of months now. However, I have been losing inches also and have dropped a pants size during that time. I don't let the numbers get to me, but I would be SOOOOOO excited to see 222 on the scale. I feel it coming soon!
