  • Who's that chick in the TV monitor?..Me?

Just had to share this little tidbit. I was in Wal-Mart yesterday waiting in line at customer service and glanced up at the security TV monitor. I saw myself and thought, "Holy crap! Is that me? But that chick looks THIN!" I was really shocked.

Do you guys ever remember glancing up at those monitors in stores and seeing yourself? I remember looking at them in disgust when I was a super heavyweight, thinking in denial, "Do I really look that fat in real life? Naw, it's the camera putting on the pounds! Yeah right!"

If you are feeling down about a slow weight loss, do yourself a favor and check yourself out on those monitors, you will be amazed, believe me!!!

It is a pleasent shock to look in a mirror or a monitor and see how much skinnier I am...

Oh...I so hear ya on this one!!!! I always told myself the same thing..."Those monitors make people look heavy." Then one day I glanced up at one walking out of a store and actually did a dead stop just to look at myself. "Hey!!!!! That's me!!!!" It's a great feeling isn't it!!! Also be careful the first couple of times, once I didn't recognize myself! Lol! Gave my hear a flutter!

so cool. You have worked your Atkins so hard to accomplish that moment. I remember turning around in the mall to see who was behind me wearing my hat when i saw my skinnier reflection in the window.
