Holy snakes girl...the things you get into! Glad you had family there to take care of you. Hope everything is better soon!

      Re: Snakes!

Ahhh. I wouldn't even squirt one; I'd be running away screaming. That is another reason I don't like AZ--too many squiggling things out in the heat.

Hope you feel better. Does it stilll hurt or is it just sore by now?

              Re: Snakes!

I do not hate snakes although now I have a real healthy fear along with some amazing nightmares! My ankles are really fat and they throb like a red wasp sting but all in all I am fine. I walked outside yesterday to the mail box at the end of my drive and all I could do was watch the ground. My DS thought it would be funny to scream snake until I grabbed his arm and left bruises when I freaked out. Like 2 Big said I'm in for about three weeks of R&R with my feet propped up. No biggie. I feel quite lucky the snake did not get to put all of his venom in me. It hurts bad enough with just a small amount.Ya'll just be careful and watch your step. By the way Snake bites make you thirsty go figure...

                Re: Snakes!

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better. If it were talking to anyone else in the world, I'd tell them to enjoy the next few weeks of relaxation with their feet up . . . but I'll bet you just hate having to take it easy, don't you? You seem like a person who likes to be on the go all the time. Tell DH to buy you a couple of cheap, tacky romance novels to help you pass the time.

You know, I had a snake go across my bare foot last summer. Just a harmless little Michigan garter snake. And I peed.

So, I think you handled a venomous snake with remarkable bravery.

OMG Diva!!! I can't believe you are so calm about it. I would be petrified if I saw a dangerous snake in my yard! I hope you recover soon, take care,
