    Re: dreaming of the past?

Very common occurence. People have dreamed about eating the stuff they don't anymore and wake up feeling guilty. I remember once someone dreamed about a carb blowout and was surprised that they were still in ketosis when they tested in the morning.

The carb demons are evil, aren't they?

Yep!! Just like jroche mentioned, I dream about eating sinful foods almost every other night. Yesterday night I was eating wendy's french fries at one point and then a canoli! And in my dream I was like "oh crap I forgot I was doing atkins!!"...

The funny thing is, I can taste what I'm eating in my dreams, so I no longer crave them when I wake up! I think this is my mind's way of helping me out!

The first night of my diet I dreamt of oranges all night long, but I haven't had any yummy dreams since. Its weird though, I've been overweight for about 6 years. It took two years of being overweight before I started showing up fat in my dreams. After about 2 weeks on atkins, I started to show up skinny in my dreams. They say your mind can materialize anything you set it to, so Im hoping its a glimpse of the future. lol

Me too! One dream was so vivid that I woke up really upset and confused. How could I binge like that. Then I realized it was just a dream. It took a while to calm down and realize that I did not binge all night after all. VERY WEIRD!!!
