Well, it's only mid-week two of starting CLEAN but I've been doing excellent and am so proud of myself. 6 mornings at the gym (blahhh!) last week and going for six again this week. First week was clean induction and this week moving into OWL. Drinking lots and lots of water ONLY (with the exception of one diet soda yesterday, which usually I avoid, not because it effects my loss but because it just doesn't feel healthy... but if that's what I need for a little "treat" once in a while; it's not so bad and I will allow it without guilt).
I am not weighing because I hate scales but I can feel my body strengthening and my energy level going up, up, up. I am sleeping much better, and am looking forward to the end of the summer when I do official measurements and step on the scale again.
As a side note, I noticed now that I've gone into OWL, my ketostix consistently register a slightly higher (now, small to moderate; previously trace to small). I think I may be one of those folks whose loss picks up in OWL. Yay. We shall see.... Oh, and as another side note, I realize the rules of OWL include weighing to see how the changes effect your loss. I am opting to NOT weigh. Mainly because at the same time I've started a new, more intense exercise regime -- so the muscle gain will deceive the scale.
I will monitor my OWL progress by how I feel and how my clothes fit
