  • Joining Curves - anyone want a referral?

    Hello!

I am going to a consultation to Curves today (in three hours, I should have made this thread sooner).. anyway, not sure if they give rewards for referring someone who joins, but thought I would ask just in case they do.

Anyone here a current member? I'll tell the lady your name and that you referred me and maybe you'll get something from them, who knows?

PM your name/location info if you're interested.

Hey, how is it going at curves. Do you like it? I was going to join a few months ago but then I realized they have pretty strict hours. I'm a mommy so most of the time I can't get my workouts in until very late at night. They closed at six, I need something like 24 hour fitness instead. Well hope everything is working out for you. He he, no pun intended

    P90X Challenge: 24/90 done, 66 to go!

My Personal 20 Week No Cheat Challenge:

I went to the consultation and did a trial work out - it felt really good and I could really feel my muscles being challenged - you know? I decided not to give them my money until after I came back from my trip to Oregon, since it would be silly to pay for a week that I couldn't use it. It seems like a fun place to work out though - I am looking forward to adding it to my routine!

Glad you liked it! I have been a member since February and really like it. I haven't got to go as much as I would like due to some family issues, but I do enjoy it and think I get a good work out in when I do get there. Their hours are somewhat limiting. I need to leave work by 5:00 to get there in time, but that hasn't bothered me too much. I do really wish they were open on Sunday's though.

You'll have to let us know how it goes!

I think the hours of operation at Curves sucks. I don't mean to offend anyone that is able to work with the schedule, but I have a hectic work schedule. I have to leave my house at 7 to get to work by 8, and most days I'm at the office until at least 6 pm. Doesn't leave me any time to get to curves. I also need a 24 hour type fitness place, since working out in the a.m. means starting my routine at 5 am.
