Would you like to see a slideshow of me and my DH's vacation to Red River, N.Mex.
If you wonder where the heck Red River is, It is real close to Taos and Angel Fire, N. Mex. Red River is in the northeast part of new mexico in the Rocky Mountains.

Just a little history!
My squash Blossom necklace was my grandmother's on my moms side of the family. Mom inherited it and she gave it to me. It was bought by my grandmother's brother in santa Fe area(we think). The necklace is more than 50 years old. So when I go to the mnts I always take it and wear it and think of Grandmother Chenault.
I have been told that I would probably be surprised on the value of it, but the value of it being my grandmother's is enough for me. It's not for sale!
We did have a wonderful vacation and look forward in going back in sept. for their Aspencade/arts and crafts celebration. This is when the leaves of the aspens will be changing to a golden color. I love the fall time of the year.

I had to think what ar you talking about. Then I remembered the wooden bear we were standing by.

We really did have a great time. I walked my DH all over town. We walked an average of 5 to 6 miles per day. It was so fun.
