  • I Made It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just can not tell you all how happy I am this morning. I am down to 299.5 from 338 pounds. This is the lowest weight I've been at in such a long time. I'm so happy to be a citizen of TWOTERVILLE! I have told myself now that I never want to see a 3 as the first number of my weight EVER AGAIN. Let me give you guys a little back story so you can understand why this weight loss is so important to me.

    April 2004 - I was in New York with my in laws for St. Patrick's day. I was struggling with depression, but no one knew. I was losing weight... down to about 261 from the 288 pounds I was at Christmas time. I had a baby June 2003, and was suffering from Post Partum Depression. By Mid-May when I went to the hospital for Depression My weight was 288 pounds again. My husband and I moved up to New York and I was surprised to get on the scale at the start of July and see the number 321. That didn't stop me, I kept on eating. During the fall I started Atkins. I got down to 306 before I stopped. Of course I gained it all back in the following months and when I got on a scale again in Feb. I was up to 338 pounds. Since then I went on Weight Watchers which helped me gain a bit more control over myself and get down to about 316, but just wasn't for me. I stopped "dieting" and thankfully didn't gain any weight during the next month. Then 2 weeks ago I decided I would jump back on the Atkins bandwagon. Since then I've felt better about myself, felt more in control of my eating, haven't felt like I was dieting, and now I'm at 299.5 pounds... finally out of the 300's. I feel like this >>

    My next short term goal is 288 (my disney and hospital weight) 275 (how much I weighed when i got pregnant with my daughter) 261 (my low weight after pregnancy) 245 (weight when I got married June 2002) 225 (my lowest adult weight EVER... size 14) and downward until I reach 199 or size 12. Whichever comes first. I also have mini-goals set at 10 pounds each. So, currently my next 10 is 296.

    Congratulations!!!! Sounds like you are doing great and are on your way to meeting your next goal too!! I am very happy for you

    First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
    Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

        Thats awesome, sounds like you really have your mind set to do this i see your next goal in the near furture!!!!!!!!

            Daily Goals:
            No wasted carbs.
            Water intake .5 -1 gallon.
            Exercise 60 minutes 5x week
            Get in the right veggies.
