Planning a makeover

I've decided to give myself a makeover. New haircut, highlights, and gel nails. I really like fake nails but I've been too cheap to spend the money on myself. I decided that I need to make a statement to myself that I am changing how I live, eat, and look. I think that nice nails will be a constant visual reminder of that decision. And Lord knows I need a constant reminder of that!!!

August 13 is my big day. I will post pics to show you all the changes.

That's a great idea! You definitly deserve the royal treatment...all gals do!

I LOVE getting all girly I'm thinking of buying a pair of cowgirl boots, maybe red , when I hit my 1st mini goal...I'm so daring it hurts! lol!

I've been checking out styles on the Internet and I've picked one I like. But you will all have to wait for the pics. I'm going to go shopping for my new fall clothes and post pics of the whole package.

That sounds like so much fun! I'm seriously considering cutting my hair into long layers. I'm such a big chicken about my hair, though.

I did, however, splurge and get French tip nails for my daughter's wedding last Saturday night. I've never even had a manicure before and my nails were awful! I'm SO glad I got them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them and I'm going to keep them for awhile at least. So go for it!
