I'm trying to answer some of my e-mail for 10 min at a time, but thought I'd answer your question IAP. In fact, when I was scheduled for the surgery, I asked the doctor how much the organs he was taking out weighed. He said that together they would be approx 2 pounds.
I went into the hospital weighing 179. I now weigh 176. I am swollen and I know the medication and the IV's I am on are causing water gain. Although I am not doing any exercise right now....I really believe that when I get more acitve in a week or so and start back up on an exercise routine that I will lose this water.
Thats my understanding on all of this. I feel good since the surgery and looking forward to getting back on plan and reaching my goal. This was just a short obstacle that I've had to overcome. I don't think anything is worth achieving if you don't have to work a little harder to get it.
