    I'm Back!

    Hi Everyone! I arrived back in Norway August 10th, Ralphy and I went for a mile walk and I am back on Atkins. I still have to head to the doctors and weigh in and when I do I will update my avatar/signature lines (if I can figure out how ).
    I had a wonderful vacation in the states and already miss everyone! Meeting Dream/Becky was a high point of my vacation......Becky is just as sweet in person as she is online and I felt like we had been friends forever instead of just meeting. I really enjoyed our time together, and meeting Beckys daughter and her friend Joann was a bonus.....what really nice people.
    The ADBB looks soooooooooooooooo different! Well I am off to explore the ADBB!

    Welcome back!!! So nice to see you again! The new board is great...takes a little getting used to but I love it! Any pictures from the vacation you'd like to share?

        Did Atkins back in 2005 and went from 262 to 182!
        Starting Nov 4th 2009 again at 195
        First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
        Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

                  Well hello there stranger, welcome back! So very good to see you again! glad to hear you had a lovely trip here in the states. How were things at home when you arrived back? Did hubby keep up the place while you were away??

                  Tell us more about your vacation. Who did you miss seeing? Did all the family make the effort to come to you?? Did you get your fix of US treats??

                  Did you do any traveling around in the area (phoenix yes?) while you were here?

                    Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back!
                    DH held the house together while we were gone and Ralphy was soooooooooooo happy to see us! So were Sandi (our other dog) and George (the cat).
                    My Aunt flew in from Texas and spend several days in phoenix with us....we went to one of the Zoos and man was it way too hot! Then my Uncle and Aunt flew into california to join my whole family and alot of friends on a camping trip.....it was really nice to see everyone. Of course you know our Miss Becky drove down to see me and that was a wonderful visit! Becky and I missed getting together with Joanne and hope next time that we can!
                    My son and I took a bus tour up to the Grand Canyon and Sedona....we also hit alot of Walmarts, Kmarts and Targets while we were in town (4 suitcases worth!)
                    We had a few nice steak dinners and I had my fill of Count Chocula cereal, and other goodies.....I discovered that aside from the Count, the food wasn't as important as I thought it would be. We didn't bring any american goodies back with us, I started right back to Atkins the next day and am feeling great aside for jet lag and a sore ankle (I tweaked it on a moving sidewalk at the airport!).
                    It was great seeing my Mom and hanging out with my sister and her children, swimming and soaking up the sun......cant wait for 2007 and my next trip over!
