    Nice glasses

    This past month has been entertaining. No less than 3 people have complimented me on my glasses: "Your glasses are so cute!", "Hey, did you get new glasses?", "I really like your glasses!"

    It kind of baffled me at first. They're the same glasses I've been wearing for over 2 years and people should be used to them by now. In fact, I never had 3 people comment on them when they were new! Then it hit me... I've lost 60 pounds, but they can't quite put a finger on it I bet. So it's the glasses they've focused on LOL.

    Anyone else have similar experiences? I'm finding it's kind of fun

    nope sorry but hey at leasat they are noticing you are different. Most folk feared I had cancer or some other illness as I lost weight and didn't say a word till they found out I was losing it on purpose.

      I've had this happen with people who haven't seen me in a while. They'll ask, "did you change your hair" and look at me kind of funny like they're trying to figure out what's different. "no, but I've lost 94 pounds!" I find it humorous!

        I've heard "did you change your haircolor?" a few times. When it's the same color I've been using for the last 15 years!

            That's funny that they notice your glasses! It must be the thinny minnie face of yours making the glasses seem a little prominent! I'll bet you're the cutest!

              What a fun discovery! Yes, its always nice when someone notices. A waitress at a restaurant I used to frequent complimented me on my weight loss the other day. Its very motivating.

                My kids started school today and a few people I haven't seen since June commented on my weight loss, but more commented that my hair was looking really cute. My smaller face must be making my hair look better. LOL
