  • Century Club exercise challenge?

Okay I got slack on posting the challenge after my dad died in May and nobody complained so i just let it slide.

We have a lot of new to Atkins CC memebers now and many oldies that can play too so do ya'll want to revive the challenge? for the new folk it is for anybody who started out with 100 or moire pounds to lose cause we super heavyweights have different issues with exericise they the flyweights. You can be in the 6WEC challenge and the CCEC and any other challenge you want to be in. The CCEC was a Monday morning reporting topic with no slugs no charts just posting supporting, celebrating, and rescuing when the aliens abducted some of us from our exercising.

if you want to see an old one for any new to the CC forum here is a link. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=8138

    Re: Century Club exercise challenge?

That sounds good 2big. Although I'm not really Atkins eating right now, my hubby just decided we needed to exercise yesterday so he began and I restarted WATP.

I was thinking yesterday about how much I am actually missing my Atkins WOE. This carby stuff just isn't as good as it used to be. As soon as I have this baby you better bet I'm hitting induction!!! I can't wait.

But for now, I think the CCEC would be nice to keep me and hubby going.

"OK," she screamed, as the alien grabbed her leg and tried to drag her back into the spaceship.

                Re: Century Club exercise challenge?

I'll do minimum 45 minutes exercise 4 days a week

I aim for 6 days, 1 hour each, but this gives me some wiggle room

                  Re: Century Club exercise challenge?

I'm in, though not formally a member of the CC. I need to be (and would like to be), because I would ideally LOVE to be in ONEDERLAND, around 175, I think. I just didn't know how to join. This seems like a good way.

I'm also doing the 6WEC for the first time - so I'm down for 4/7 days for both!!

Thanks for this opportunity to meet and greet a new bunch of friends.

                      Re: Century Club exercise challenge?

okay then I'll post the report topic on Monday and since Aug is almost over we can use the same topic for Sept and then switch to a monthly one.

Amenia you do know you can do Atkins maintenance while preg We have many folk in our preggo section doing just that. Check it out the only part of Atkins you should not do while preg is any of the weight loss phases unless your doc for your medical health wants you to lose wewight while preg.

and did you know that baby's brain's love ketones as they are the precursors for neonatal brain tissues.

I see some of our alien abducted folk are already getting psyched to avoid a repeat of those terrible probes.

NoMorePumpkin you are a CCer Century Club is for any onew who started out with 100 or more pounds to lose. So let me be the first to officially welcome you post a topic in the forum and the rest of the gang will welcome you too. (watch out for our hazers though so you don't end up posting a speedo shot and a forehead tatoo) The 100 pouder club is for those who have lost 100 pounds already

                        Re: Century Club exercise challenge?

For a bunch of reasons I haven't set a goal weight, not wanting to set goals I can't meet, not sure I really trust this WOE, still waiting for certainty that its working for me, I'd be so happy to not be morbidly obese, not sure the weight I was when 21 is realistic for now. I'm not sure I am really CC material .... I like it here, I feel comfortable, I am a slow loser, and I do have 85+ pounds to lose. I'd like to sign up for the challenge, if you'll have me.

                          I've stuck with it!

I agreed to exercise for 30 minutes 5 times per week! So far:

                          Wednesday: 30 minutes treadmill
                          Thursday: 30 minutes, treadmill
                          Friday: sick day
                          Sat: sick day
                          Sunday:30 minutes on the treadmill

                          How is everyone doing?

Please check in! It helps with accountability!

right now i am doing 20 mins everyday until i get my stamina back up from my two month exercise and water vacation. i find it is just amazing how quickly you lose the stamina you have worked up. I was good and made sure to do my walking everyday. This week I am going to continue with my 20 minutes per day and see if my stamina us up by the end of it to start doing 25-30 after that.
