I wanted to thank everyone who gave well-wishes and prayers for my family and I. I was able to make it home this weekend and see everyone. It was really nice.
My mom found out the day before, but she didn't tell my dad. When DH and I walked into his hospital room his eyes bugged out and he started crying. He was SO surprised. He told my mom, I think I almost had a heart attack.
The hardest part was leaving and not "kidnapping" my sister, and having her come live with me!
Anyway, we drove 13 hours on Friday, stayed all day Sat and until about 2pm on Sunday. On Sunday, we drove 13 hours back home and headed to bed.
I hate travelling, but it was really worth it. Hopefully we will be able to do it again after the baby comes so grandma and grandpa can meet their grandbaby. I know they'd LOVE that.
