Ok, now, let's be honest...you simply DO NOT have a 13-year-old! Stop aging yourself and come clean, Cleo. You can't possibly be old enough to have any child over the age of 6. Wisdom comes with age, but creating teen-agers is really a little nutty, don't you think?

Seriously, though...I am in love with your wit and have been for some time..I am curious about your education. Not that that has a thing to do with sharp wit, but you do communicate well and do seem to be well-educated. My question is...did you graduate college?

Next question...Are you prepared to write for me in the next newsletter, cause I got a great idea!

Ok, ok, talk to ya later on that one...another question...with all those kids (albeit made-up ), how do you fit in exercise? This is my biggest problem, since my 2-year-old likes to prevent any and all forms of exercise.

Ok, I think that's enough! Can ya tell that I like you? Girlie friend sorta like, maybe a platonic crush sorta like, but that's it!

I feel so humbled being in the spotlight but it's also like having a birthday! I feel like I get the decorated chair and got to choose the Cookie Monster tableware!



{{{GMOM}}} lol! You are so kind to think I look too young to have a teen. He is taller than me and I still want to sit him on my lap! It's hard seeing them grow up so fast!

My question is...did you graduate college?

You REALLY humble me with your commentary because I admire you so much. I mean really! No. I did not graduate from college. I did receive my AA from a community college, but from there, I only completed a year towards my degrees (Majors in linguistics and english, with emphasis on teaching high school, Minors in social anthropology and french). I was married and got pregnant and decided that if I was going to teach, I'd continue to educate myself at home and be a surrogate teacher to my children as they grew. I do read a lot and enjoy learning, but my love of language, the humanities and cultures is still my passion!

how do you fit in exercise?

Having a four-year old, I can feel your pain, cutie mama! I either watch what she's watching while I walk on the treadmill so that we can talk and still be together (so I try and find something she's interested in that isn't going to murder me intellectually for the time period), or I wait until after the kids go to bed and then hubby and I watch tv while I walk and we spend time together. We rent from Netflix, so there is always something we're watching. You know, what really keeps it interesting is that now that so many tv shows are on dvd, we rent the seasons and watch an episode a night. It keeps me wanting to walk, because I want to watch the next episode!

LOL! Well, just between you and me, people tell me I look GREAT for 70.

A story, and not to brag, because it was just really strange. Once while at a TOPS meeting, a new person came to the meeting. I was talking about my kids and the new lady just kept frowning at me the whole time, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing to make this woman dislike me so much! I found out the next day that she thought I was 16 and already had 2 kids. She was upset that I was so nonchalant about it, too! I was SO over 16 at the time (I was 24). Anyway, she never came back, but I think she was really embarrassed about the situation when she found out she was angry about nothing... LOL As they say in Texas, you can put a kitten in the oven but that don't make it a bun... and it doesn't make me 16... or 24... *LOL*

Come to think of it, I'm not much of a kitten. LOL!!!
