  • Friday Roll Call!

    It is Friday. I am here. Couldn't sleep so I am posting the roll call again today. Get your bums in here and let us know how everything is going today.

    Other than being very sleepy but unable to actually get to sleep (carpal tunnel syndrome is keeping me up atm), everything is going ok. Wife and I are going to the pet store today to look at puppies and maybe the mall afterwards to just kinda walk about a little (if I feel up to it).

    Have a good day guys; I'll be back online this evening.

    I'm doing great! I just completed my increadible challenging challenge (dork) and got pretty great results. 14" and 7 pounds gone forever, in 1 month. I know it is not as much as some of you who lose 15 pounds in a month but you have to keep in mind that I was averaging about a pound or two before the challenge. I am pretty happy.

    My neck feels kind of sore today, I might have slept on it wrong so I'll take it easy today. I plan on taking my daughter up to her school and getting some homework done. Maybe I'll squeeze in something fun in there too!

      I'm doing great now that I'm up and walking on my new cast. I ended up losing a few pounds last week which is great since I really couldn't do any exercise at all. Although walking with the crutches made me sweat more than a one hour walk, so maybe I was exercising.

      I tried Okra for the first time this morning. Interesting vegetable. You can tell I'm not from the south. I fried it with onion and bacon and put it in an omlette. I have already had 4 glasses of water this morning. I have been really thirsty the last couple of days.

      Well, I need to go clean I have family coming this weekend and my house is a mess from not being able to keep up with everything while my leg was recuperating.

      Take care everyone. Drink that water!

          I'll report in here. Up a few pounds this morning, but I overate the meatloaf last night (it was sooooo good). So I'm up 7 pounds from my all time low of last Saturday, but that should be gone by the end of the weekend.

          Tomorrow is my daughter's 3rd b-day party (b-day is actually the 24th) but we're having it before the baby comes. And the baby is coming next Thursday, at which point I start my leave from work for four weeks, yahoooo. But I have to play Mr. Mom while DW recuperates. Maybe we'll do lots of field trips.

          Got good news from the structural engineer regarding my addition (I was due some good news) I only have to make a minor strengthening addition to the structure (on top of what I already did). So an hour work and $100 of material and I can sleep better at night. Which by the way I did last night for the first time in a month, straight through. It was fabulous when I woke up this morning, late for my normal train. I know that sounds strange but for not sleeping in a month due to worries, physical discomfort, and stress, it was a little slice of heaven.

          Food choices are slacking, exercise is slacking. I'll be back at it full force very soon.

            It's been a while since I rolled in...so here I am! I'm still getting my exercise in, and my water and I'm on program. The boy band stalking contiues to go well. Zuchini is no longer available at my supermarket (that was a short season!). I still can't speak Japanese. I'm retaining a great deal of water recently. But the inches still seem to be coming off (just don't measure my wrists or ankles!).

              I'm up and at em! Busy day today. Just weighed myself, and down another 2 lbs to 202.5, and Tom is still with me for another day or 2, so maybe some more surprizes coming!!! I've got a job interview in a couple of hours, and then lotsa errands to run. Popping into Old Navy to get a pair of pants, could never shop there before, only the "Big Girl" shops. Well gone are those shops for me, forever! I just ordered "Slim in 6" exercise DVD from beach body.com. Seems like lots of people are raving about it! Gotta run now....

                here got a few more boxes of the girls stuff unloaded back into their rooms. Need to spend time next week emptying my garage of their old toys and see if I can get an appointment to sell off some of the toddler stuff. water is slacking, exercise only up and down stairs with boxes of books, but better than sitting still.

                  Jim- Good luck with the new baby. Enjoy your time off. I love holding a newborn baby. I'm jealous, but not enough to do that again! LOL Get your sleep this week.

                    oh sorry cleo lol.

                    i finally did get some sleep at 1pm today...only four hours though...as far as exercise has been going i have been continuing to do those double sessions everyday this week save 1 when my knee was just too sore to attempt a double. i am gonna do my best to do them the rest of the weekend and then i will probably move up my exercise challenge goal to doing doubles regularly (did that make sense? i mean i will start 'pledging' to do the double every day on the CCEC thread).

                    kid is home for the weekend (not staying the night with anyone), so it will be tough to get the exercise in. I walked idly around the mall for 1.5 hours today, but imma still do my double exercise tonight since i don't feel wiped out.

                    oh i decided just for the **** of it to jump on the scale after a couple of days (i normally wait 2-4 weeks) and in the last two days i have misplaced four pounds. if anyone finds it, please just throw it away for me? thanks :P

                      I know I am late on this, but last night we had a neighborhood block party. It was cool meeting and talking to neighbors that you only see in passing as walking the dog. We had to leave early just because of Guard this weekend. The good news is that is not an overnighter like originally believed. Still around, still doing the best I can...
