  • I messed up

    I had some all day Girl Scout leader training yesterday to learn how to make fires, cook meals on it etc. They had some legal food but I was weak and ate the food we prepared. I would have been fine if I just ate the meal, but I also ate the desserts that we made over the fire. I didn't eat dinner since we ate so late in the afternoon, and I'm back on today. I'm just disappointed in myself. I could have stayed to plan, but I didn't.

    Oh well, it's a new day and I am away from all that temptation. I feel better now that I admitted to my cheat. Oh, and now I can start a campfire with one match and no chemical starters. Sorry, we didn't learn how to start it by rubbing sticks together.

    Listen. You've had your share of stressors lately, what with breaking your ankle and whatnot. You deserve a {{{you}}} hug and a 'go get 'em, Tiger'! I know it was momentary weakness, and that next time you'll be able to plan ahead and be prepared for an event like this!

        Sometimes I've wondered if my thighs rubbing together when I walked could start a fire....

        But anyhoo........glad to see you're back on plan. You can do it this time!!!!

            I just wanted to let everyone know that I am back on plan. It was a momentary weakness.

              Sounds like you know what to do...don't let it take hold of you and back on the wagon! Doesn't it feel better when you get it out in the open. Thank goodness, today is a NEW day!

                good for you getting back on plan. So that campfire cooking will not be a triggerring event for you you need to plan some campfire low carb cooking and do it now so you can associate low carb foods with campfire smells.

                You can tell the family you are practicing your skills.
