    Hi everyone!

    I did my little intro over at the intro board, but I wanted to poke my head in here and say hello, because I think y'all are my people! I most definitely have over 100 pounds to lose, and I'm currently in day three of induction. I'm a diet veteran (no, wait. I'm a diet quitting veteran), and this time I decided to take the initiative and start a different way of eating/life instead. I've tried Atkins in the past, for about ten minutes , then it was all ice cream and pizza after that. Pfft. No more!

    I'm feeling puny today, so I expect that I'm experiencing that lovely "induction flu". And I'm sort of convinced that I look fatter than I did Saturday! But I read somewhere that I have to be patient (not one of my strong points), so I am determined to chill out, have a clean induction, and stay away from the scale!

    ::Officially chilling out, Miss Adventure munches a hard boiled egg, nowhere near the bathroom::

    Hello, Miss! I am so glad to see you here! I love your handle! *lol*

    It sounds like you know what you're doing. You're armed with your 2002 DANDR, you're going to keep it clean, and you have a great support group who wants to see you succeed!

      Welcome to the family!!! Soon the induction flu will be a thing of the past and you'll have health, energy and a fabulous shrinking waistline...not to mention discovery of bones you haven't seen in years!!

        I'm getting all excited about this whole deal, and hangin' out with everybody, and discovering new bones (like a body archaeologist)!

        I do have my trusty book; in fact, I plan to become a downright DANDR-thumper!
