        WOW.

That is all I can say about the finale.

I watched the finale because Gilmore Girls was not on tonight and it was very inpirational. How long did the challenge last?

actually, they don't work out all day long... 2 hours cardio, 1 hour weight training... restricted 1500-1800 calorie diet and they burn about that with their exercize regimens, so they're constantly at a negative calorie deficit.
My concern goes to those who stop exercizing if life gets in the way... which it does...

I have to say though... when Matt lost 60 pounds in his first 5 weeks, I have at minimum 5 weeks before I'm meeting my DH in Arizona, (could be longer) and I can only day dream about that.. could you imagine though? Sending your DH off for a few weeks, and going down 6 sizes smaller? OMG. I know, I know, I'm so dreaming... I don't have the stamina for 3 hour intense workouts, I'm lucky if I get 15 minutes intense before I fall over....

I'm more hoping for like 60 pounds in 6 months ( 10 pounds a month average, 3 pounds a week.)

That's much healthier and you'll be better off at that rate anyway!! Of course guy's have the total advantage when it comes to weight loss. All they have to do is think about exercising and they lose ten pounds lol!
When someone loses that quickly it tends to come back quicker anyway. The more time we spend on this WOL - the more it becomes second nature and we can see ourselves sticking to it for life

Re: Is anyone watching"the Biggest Loser"?

Some of those people did blow my mind. Especially Pete!!!! I was also surprised at how good looking some of them got. You really don't realize what weight does to a person's face sometimes until you are able to compare. When we lose/gain weight ourselved or someone we see all the time I don't think we really notice as much. I was watching it 8 months pregnant so there isn't much I can do now in the way of weight loss but watching the show really makes me anxious to do something about all this extra weight. I should have taped the finale show to play over and over after the baby comes-lol. Did you see they have a couples one coming in January? This show is turning into a cash cow like American Idol.

Re: Is anyone watching"the Biggest Loser"?

I will say one thing... seeing the girls who really busted their humps off, it gives me high high hopes that one day I might be thin AND get rid of the lower arm jiggle with weight training.... THAT made it all the more worth watching to me.

Amen, jeep! I agree. Even the guys didn't seem to have much in the way of loose skin, from what I saw. That makes me extremely hopeful!

Re: Is anyone watching"the Biggest Loser"?

Watching that last program, and seeing the successes those people had was so motivational, especially hearing them speak about how it has changed not only their appearances, but also their emotional & physical state of mind was wonderful. Isn't it funny how the excessive weight on a person distorts their physical appearance? Also their self-confidence levels all seem to be highly elevated as a result of their weight losses. I had tears in my eyes watching last night!
