  • The Walking Wounded

Just letting you know that I might not be here for a couple of days. I feel like I have been beaten with a sledgehammer and sitting in the computer chair isn't helping some of the ailments that have popped up in the last couple days. Here is my list.

    1. My TMJ is swollen and sore, which makes talking or anything requiring jaw movement difficult (the only good is that I have no fear of grazing without thinking right now lol).
    2. My hip is still sore from increasing my exercise routine. It feels better than it did a couple of days ago, but it is still a little tender.
    3. My knee is giving me fits at the moment. I think I told the story of how I twisted my knee in 1999 a while back and everyone was pretty grossed out, so I won't repeat it lol.
    4. I slept on my arm wrong the other night and as a result my shoulder and elbow have been bothering me when I straighten the arm out all the way.
    5. I have an ingrown toenail that is pestering me and finally...
    6. I feel like I am coming down with a bug. My kidneys are kinda sore for some reason and I had a little tickle in my throat this morning when I woke up.

So, if I go MIA, then you at least have a little warning. I will try to keep on top of the exercise, water, and eating, and I will report back when I don't feel like total crap. Until then, keep at it guys!

            Hope you feel better soon!

If you can, you might want to consider doing walking in a pool, it might be easier on your hips and feel better. I started doing this at first when I was feeling bad from my fibromyalgia. Once I lost more weight and built more strength, I was able to exercise more normally.
            Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
            STAC Restart: 1/05/09
            306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

            Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
            Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

            Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
            Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
            Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!
