    Yes...it's early....BUT...Christmas card exchange??

    I know...I know...it's early. But since things are slow in these parts, I thought now would be a good time to start yakkin' about it.

    Last December we did a Christmas/holiday card exchange in the Century Club....although lots of other ADBBers participated. One of the mods collected names and addresses of those who wanted to be part of it, then they sent out a document with all the info. Everyone on the list sent a card to everyone else on the list. It was SOOO much fun!! We got cards and postcards from different countries, and it was really neat to see the personalities of each person reflected in their card.

    Is anyone up for a repeat of it this year??

      I know Dawn put a lot of work into that. I would love to participate but I would never have the time she took to put it together.

        I really enjoyed it last year. It was so motivating to get cards from all our 'Atkins buddies' during the holidays.

          I am so "in" again this year. Century Club rocks due to the relationships built in and outside the board. Sending cards to your friends is only a small way to show that. If we need a mod to step up, I am certainly ready to go, but I am not a Christmas in September sort of guy. Let's wait until at least Hallowwee until we start collecting names or so...

                        I would LOVE to start thinking about the holidays and participate
                        in the Christmas card swap.

                        My hubbie says I have too much time on my hands... but I put a lot of
                        thought into the cards I send--with stamps on them etc and I enjoy it!

                          IF??? IF???? My dear, to my knowledge the only rules about the card exchange are a) Diva can't send her underwear to the guys, and b) Kent has to wear his silver Star Trek shirt for this year's photo card. heehee

                          Why wouldn't you be allowed???
