Re: blueberries
I was talking about the same sort of thing to my fiance the other day!
I was like "isn't it funny how a few months ago I would drool over something really bad like an Oreo cake or the cheese fries from Outback, but now I drool over thinking about bananas and strawberries and they just sound so delicious to me!"
Instead of looking forward to mcdonalds french fries I look forward to once a week having something like sauteed spinach and feta cheese!

Re: blueberries
I find tomatoes too sweet these days. Especially cherry tomatoes.
Blueberries are an expensive luxury in England.Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Re: blueberries
Labarum-- I am going to plant some blueberries next fall! I love berries and cannot wait to hit the berry rung (we're planting blackberries this winter).
'It's amazing the sweetness of things I never realized before doing Atkins. Things I used to think tart like blueberries are now very sweet and enjoyable! I can even appreciate the sweetness of meat now.
You know, when the smoker stops smoking it is said their taste buds 'come back'...I think the same could be said for those of us who've stopped poisoning ourselves with sugar.
